We are delighted that five of our local gardens have confirmed that they are able to open together on Sunday 23rd May 1-6pm in aid of the National Garden Scheme, subject to the government Covid-19 regulations and to additional social distancing rules and safety measures. So it will be a bit different from previous years in that numbers will be strictly limited and pre-booked time slots will be available.
All the money (£8 for the 5 gardens) goes to nursing charities including MacMillan, Marie Curie, Parkinsons, Alzheimer’s, Autism, Mind, St Christopher’s and other Hospices. The gardens are close together and all very different, and there will be teas/cakes and plants for sale.
The NGS is very keen that people should book in advance online which should be done via the NGS website
